Convio to Showcase Open, Cloud-based Solutions for Nonprofits at Dreamforce
Dreamforce 2011, the cloud computing event of the year, will showcase how businesses can tap into the power of social, mobile and open technologies to become social enterprises
San Francisco - Salesforce.com Dreamforce Conference (August 31, 2011) —
Convio, Inc. today announced it will be teaming up with the Salesforce.com Foundation to demonstrate the value of integrating digital, social and mobile applications with constituent relationship management solutions for the nonprofit sector at Dreamforce 2011. Nonprofit professionals can view demonstrations of Convio Common Ground™ and Convio Luminate™ to see the value of open, cloud-based solutions built on Force.com, salesforce.com’s social enterprise platform for employee apps.
The open solutions enable nonprofits to more effectively raise funds, advocate for change and cultivate relationships with donors, activists, volunteers, event participants, alumni and other constituents. Demos will take place at the Convio booth (booth #8) in the Cloud Expo Hall at Dreamforce.
“Convio has embraced the power of the Force.com platform to create open and extensible constituent engagement solutions that bring digital, social and mobile together with traditional direct channels to help nonprofits more efficiently and effectively reach people, raise money and manage their mission,” said Barbara Kibbe, chief operating officer, the Salesforce Foundation. “Convio Common Ground for small and midsize nonprofits and Convio Luminate for the enterprise are great examples of how a salesforce.com partner can use its experience and expertise to develop custom solutions that address specific client needs.”
