Grizzard and Convio Announce Strategic Relationship to Power Integrated Fundraising and Marketing Offering
Nonprofit Software and Service Providers Join Forces on New Initiative: Go! Forward
Chicago, Illinois (March 21, 2011) —
Grizzard Communications Group and Convio Inc. (NASDAQ: CNVO) announced today that they will offer a new solution for nonprofit organizations that integrates Convio’s online marketing and fundraising platform and best practices model, known as Convio Go!™, with Grizzard’s direct response strategies and capabilities for implementing integrated campaigns. The new offering, Go! Forward, gives nonprofit professionals access to Convio’s online marketing tools and Grizzard’s direct marketing resources. Go! Forward will also feature a team of experts to guide clients through integrated online and offline campaigns, designed to acquire new donors and increase giving levels for existing donors.
“By combining Grizzard’s direct marketing experience and Convio’s marketing and fundraising software, we can help organizations put in place integrated marketing and fundraising programs that reach, engage and inspire people to support a cause,” said Chip Grizzard, chief executive officer for Grizzard Communications Group. “Research shows that, regardless of how people give – online or through traditional direct-marketing – today’s donor prefers and expects to engage through a variety of channels. In fact, donors who have engaged through both online and offline platforms have proven to be more generous than donors who only connect with the organization through one medium. Go! Forward helps nonprofits take advantage of the known donation trends to garner better results.”
Go! Forward provides nonprofits with software and direct marketing fundraising components, as well as regular coaching sessions with Grizzard and Convio experts. These consultants will serve as a virtual marketing team to produce monthly support updates, in conjunction with fundraising campaigns and donor prospecting initiatives. Go! Forward combines best practices from Convio’s Go! program with Grizzard’s direct, annual and planned giving programs.
“As a client of both Grizzard and Convio, we believe that nonprofits who engage in this offering will benefit from the experience and successes of two of the industry leaders,” said Rick Gabrielson, vice president of development and community relations for Denver Dumb Friends League, the largest animal welfare organization in the Rocky Mountain Region. “The proven results, best practices, and research that Convio and Grizzard bring to the industry have helped to reshape donor and constituent engagement. Through this partnership, nonprofits will benefit from that success while saving time and money and presenting a united front to supporters who expect your brand to be represented seamlessly across all channels.”
“The combination of Grizzard’s 90 years of fundraising experience and our decade of innovative technology experience is producing a new, solution that can help nonprofits across the country increase the yield from their marketing and fundraising projects, getting them to their goals more efficiently,” added Fred Waugh, vice president, Alliances for Convio.
Nonprofit professionals interested in the offering can learn more and request additional information at www.grizzard.com. Information will also be available at the Convio and Grizzard booths at The Association of Fundraising Professionals International Conference in Chicago, March 20 to 24, 2011. Grizzard is in booth #530; Convio is in booth #628.
