The Client
National Relief Charities (NRC) is a nonprofit dedicated to quality of life for Native Americans living on remote and poverty-stricken reservations in the Plains and Southwest. Their mission is "To help Native American people improve the quality of their lives by providing opportunities for them to bring about positive changes in their communities." NRC has been serving Native Americans for 20 years.
The Problem
Create a new design for NRC's Council of Indian Nations program site that would match redesigned offline branding and provide a more engaging experience for site visitors. In addition, the redesign would need to be applied to two other NRC program sites giving each a distinct look, while still keeping a unified theme between them all.
How We Solved It
Our strategic consulting and interactive design services partnered with NRC to create a new design that moves away from a transactional presentation of information to site visitors (login here, donate button, shop now, news headlines) to a more relationship-focused presentation (engaging sign-ups, compelling success stories, donor-centric giving opportunities).
The Outcome
The redesigned CIN site is in the process of being implemented. The CIN site will be followed with the implementation of NRC's American Indian Foundation and American Indian Relief Council sites.
